“This stuff is great when you’re on acid!” The music, the vibe, the non-stop dancing…açaí is the perfect fuel for it, as this one festival-goer told me at a NorCal fest called Earthdance. Truthfully, it is one of few things palatable when you’re partying. Açaí is rich in omega fatty acids and antioxidants. It’s creamy like peanut butter, but just sweet enough like a mango.
And so, that is how our açaí booth festival business was born. For few years, I ran it as a festival season tour for Sambazon to teach people about açaí. Festivals were a natural fit for it.
Fast forward two decades (!!) and we’re still on the road every summer on the California festival circuit (Oh, the tales that I will tell my children when they’re old enough.) We’re serving up pure, organic açaí bowl blends of unsweetened purple palmfruit pulp with organic fruits and superfoods.
